Series–parallel

A series–parallel matroid is the cycle matroid of a series–parallel network, built from a single element by repeatedly adding an element in series or in parallel with an existing one. Such matroids are graphic. For connected matroids, this is equivalent to having no $U_{2,4}$ and no $M(K_4)$ minor. Copied from polyDB (SERIES_PARALLEL).
